Musical Theatre Camp - Aladdin

For children ages 6 to 14
Musical Theatre Camp - Aladdin
Join us this summer for a fun 5-day camp. Come learn and enjoy Aladdin!

During this camp, we will learn about theatre, musical theatre specifically, and what it is like to be an actor.

And then for some super duper fun, we will have a full performance for our friends and family to come and enjoy on Friday.

So... on the first day of camp, we get to know each other and have fun playing games. Then we will have a little audition experience. Come ready to sing your favorite song for our audition on day one. For the rest of the camp week, we will put together our show.

On Friday, we perform our show - the actual script, just a shorter version of course, but still the songs and choreography, and for some the real Broadway choreography. It is a lot of fun! (Details about times and such will be sent home on the first day of camp.)

This camp is for ages 6 to 14.

You do not have to be the best singer, the best dancer, or be the best actor; in fact, you don't need any experience at all.

Try something new. Just have that star quality and the desire to perform or learn more about theatre, and you're going to have so much fun.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and we are going to have a blast this summer with musical theatre camp.

Instructors

Eden Rule

Eden Rule is no rookie to the world of performing - having over 30 years of theatre experience, on stage, backstage, directing, playwriting, and all things technical, including teaching Theatre for our local school district.

Even Eden’s husband and four children are all active in performing arts. Take a road trip with the Rule clan some time and you will quickly learn more Broadway show tunes than you care to know and the history of Theatre through the ages!

Theatre is Eden‘s passion, and it brings her so much joy to find the natural performer in all of her students. She truly believes that every person has a bit of star quality and can find their purpose somewhere on stage, whether that be through costuming, technical arts, set building, or even being “tree number three” in the ensemble.

Unfortunately, Eden was forced to take the last year off away from the stage, as she and her children mourned the loss of Eden‘s husband, Deputy Constable Caleb Rule, who was killed in the line of duty last May. She is beyond thrilled to start back again and return in his honor.
